Mini Beach Нячанг

Mini Beach is a small strand, about three hundred metres long, in Nha Trang bay and reachable only by boat. The pier is off Vo Thi Sau, roughly 6.3 kilometres from Tram Huong Tower if you run south along Tran Phu past the cable-car station. It sits on Hon Mieu: the same island as Bai Tranh, about 300 m along the shore, so don't confuse the two when booking a boat: different piers, different pricing.

Entry is 220,000₫ for adults and 110,000₫ for children, and the thing worth noting is that the sun beds, umbrellas and loungers are in the price rather than charged on top as at most public beaches. A towel with drinks is 80,000₫. White sand, and clearer water than Tran Phu because it sits tucked inside the bay.

Water sports cost extra: parasailing, jet skis, banana boat, kayaks. There is a seafood restaurant on site. For a group, chartering the whole boat works out cheaper a head. Under nine guests 1,500,000₫, ten to fourteen 1,700,000₫, fifteen to twenty-four 2,000,000₫, twenty-five to thirty-five 2,800,000₫.

Against the four-island tour this is the opposite proposition: one beach, all day, no hopping on and off a boat four times. In exchange you see one place, and three hundred metres of sand still fills up at a weekend lunchtime. For quiet, come early or on a weekday.

Other small beaches: Bãi Tranh on Hòn Miễu. For long and empty, Bãi Dài or Dốc Lết.
