Wyndham Grand KN Paradise sits on the Cam Ranh peninsula beside the white sand and turquoise water of Long Beach. What sets it apart from its neighbours is golf: a 27-hole Greg Norman-designed course with ocean views, plus a golf academy, driving range and clubhouse.

Beyond golf there's a spa, an outdoor pool, a gym, four restaurants and a beach club with DJs. Rooms lean contemporary with Vietnamese touches, many with a private or semi-private pool. The resort is only minutes from Cam Ranh airport. The closest of the Bai Dai group.

This is the closest of the Bai Dai resorts to Cam Ranh airport. A few minutes' drive, which suits a short trip or a late flight. The flip side is that nearer the airport means further from Nha Trang: reckon 40–45 minutes into town. The thing to ask before booking any Bai Dai resort: there is almost nothing to eat outside the gates, so most meals happen on site. Ask what board options exist. Half or full, and whether there is a shuttle into Nha Trang. Those two answers move the total cost of a trip more than the room rate does.

The 27-hole Greg Norman course is something no neighbouring resort has, so if golf is in the plan this is the only option on this site. If it is not, what you will actually use is the beach and the pools, and several resorts on the same sand supply that for less. Rates across Bai Dai swing with the domestic calendar: Tet, the 30 April–1 May holiday and the June-to-August school break are dearest and fill earliest, while October to December is wet and cheapest.
