That cuts both ways: convenient when you want it, but the music runs late. If you sleep lightly, ask for a high floor not facing the beach when you book, rather than raising it at check-in.

Otherwise the position gives what every Tran Phu hotel gives: the beach, the inland restaurants and the island-tour desks all on foot, with no vehicle needed for most of a trip. Dam market and the backpacker quarter are a walk or a short ride.

The familiar trade for the whole strip: the beach out front is public, busy and worked by hawkers, unlike the private sand of a Bai Dai resort. You trade quiet for never having to travel.

Other places to stay in the Trần Phú strip: Citadines Bayfront Nha Trang, Grand Gosia Hotel, Panorama Nha Trang. Trần Phú beach is across the road, and the cafés around here are on the tourist-quarter page.
