XAVIA Hotel Nha Trang

XAVIA is at 9 Hoang Dieu in Vinh Nguyen. Set back from the Tran Phu frontage, but still about two minutes' walk from the sand. That is a sensible swap: you give up the seafront address, keep the distance to the water, and usually pay less for the same class of room.

It is a four-star of 180 rooms over twenty floors, running Superior, Deluxe, Premier, Family, Suite and XAVIA Suite. Twenty floors means high rooms still look over the bay even without a seafront address.

Facilities include a pool, gym, spa and both dry and steam saunas. Two sauna types is not standard at this class. The hotel also advertises a private beach; ask at booking where exactly it is and how you reach it, since the building itself is not on the seafront.

Hoang Dieu sits in the southern quarter, nearer Cau Da port than the middle of Tran Phu, which helps on an island day. In exchange the inland restaurants and the backpacker quarter are further. Budget a ride for dinner.
