Seaside is at 70 Dong Da in Tan Lap. Inland rather than on the seafront. It holds 107 rooms and what all six categories share is a balcony, facing either the sea or the city. A balcony at the entry level is worth noting: most inland hotels at this price have none.

The six categories are Deluxe, Senior Deluxe, Executive, Premier, Family and Suite. Because the building is not on the front, "sea view" here means a diagonal look at the bay over the rooftops rather than sand outside the door. Ask about the floor when you book.

On the roof there is a sky bar with an infinity pool, and below it an Asian–European restaurant, a spa and meeting rooms. It is the same move a hotel without a seafront address always makes: you buy the view back on the top floor.

Dong Da and Tan Lap put you between the night market and the beach, both a short walk. The trade is noise: this is a busy quarter that stays up, so if you sleep lightly ask for a high floor away from the street when you book.
