Mia Resort Nha Trang

Mia is at Bai Dong in Cam Lam district. South, near Bai Dai and not far from Cam Ranh airport. It's a small resort terraced down a hillside to a cove, with few enough rooms that it's markedly quieter and more private than the big beachfront hotels.

The location is both its strength and the thing to weigh: you get a private cove and quiet, but central Nha Trang is a 30–40 minute drive. It suits a honeymoon or a pure rest trip with little moving around.

On logistics: Bai Dong is in Cam Lam district, so it is close to Cam Ranh airport but 30–40 minutes from the centre of Nha Trang. That means eating on site for most meals. Ask what board options exist, because there is very little around.

On price: room rates in Nha Trang swing hard with the domestic calendar: Tet, the 30 April–1 May holiday and the June-to-August school break are the dearest and fill earliest, while October to December is wet and cheapest. Figures on this page are a guide, not a quoted rate. Because it is small, it is the first of the high-end places to fill at peak, if you are aiming at a holiday, book well ahead.
