Overview
Badminton in Nha Trang is played before the heat arrives, and the opening hours say so: NT Stadium at 258 Phương Sài opens at four in the morning, and most of the rest at 05:00 or 05:30. One even names its tournament after the hour: Thịnh Cầu Bè ran its second "5AM" competition in 2024. Evening play runs to 22:00, with San Sport 2 going to 23:00 and Vĩnh Thạnh shutting earliest at 20:00. None of them posts a rate, which makes the phone number under each name at the foot of this page the most usable thing here: ring to ask the price and hold a court, because 17:00–21:00 fills everywhere.
The sixteen halls fall into four clusters, and you pick by which is near where you are staying rather than by any score. The western cluster around Cầu Bè, Phú Nông and Vĩnh Thạnh holds six, the largest group. The central cluster has four: Huy Forza on Nguyễn Thị Minh Khai, the Khánh Hoà Badminton Federation at 12 Yersin, NT Stadium at 258 Phương Sài, and Ngô Quyền. The north has three: Khánh Việt on Đặng Lộ, DK-26, and Phương Nam at 43/26 Đoàn Trần Nghiệp. The south another three: Hưng Phú 5 at 63 Khúc Thừa Dụ, Hưng Phú Phong Châu at 163 Phong Châu, and LITA at 442 Lê Hồng Phong.
If you are near the middle, four are worth ringing first. Huy Forza is the closest to the tourist quarter. A metal sign on the wall carries the name and two phone numbers, and inside is a high arched hall with blue-matted courts. The Khánh Hoà Badminton Federation at 12 Yersin is not a private hall but a competition floor inside the provincial sports arena: sprung sports flooring, basketball hoops overhead, tournament banners round the walls. The place to play on a proper surface if painted concrete puts you off. NT Stadium at 258 Phương Sài is a closed steel-sheet hall that opens at four in the morning, the earliest of all sixteen. Ngô Quyền is the oldest of the group. A faded shed with a visibly worn surface; it is here because people still play there regularly, not because it is smart.
The western cluster is still the densest, and three of its halls solve three different problems. Ken Sport Phú Nông at 35/6 Phú Nông is the newest, with proper blue PVC sports flooring rather than paint on concrete: a difference your knees notice. Court 225 has a badminton shop inside it: the MN Sport board advertises kit, accessories and restringing while you wait to Yonex and Li-Ning tension, plus coaching, so if a string goes mid-session, that is the one place that can fix it on the spot. Thịnh Cầu Bè has the most club life, with its own annual tournament.
The south belongs to the Hưng Phú chain, and it is plain on sight: a bright green roof lettered "HƯNG PHÚ NHA TRANG", "BADMINTON HALL" banners round the walls, and an opening-day banner that says "the Hưng Phú badminton system" in as many words. The two sites share the number 0948 082 021. The Phong Châu branch also has orange pickleball courts in the same building under a "HƯNG PHÚ PICKLEBALL CLUB" sign, so a group that splits between the two games can split here. Next to them, LITA at 442 Lê Hồng Phong is a wide multi-court hall that mostly runs tournaments: spectators on plastic stools along the lines, teams in matching shirts.
The north has three, and two of them are one business. Khánh Việt on Đặng Lộ is the largest hall on the northern run, a tall steel shed with motorbike parking inside it: a small thing that matters in the rain. Phương Nam at 43/26 Đoàn Trần Nghiệp is smaller, walled in green sheeting, and shares the number 0969 926 777 with Khánh Việt though the two are about 1.5 km apart: one call asks about both. DK-26 has something none of the others do, table-tennis tables set up beside the badminton courts, so anyone in the group who does not play still has something to do.
One note on prices, and on what write-ups elsewhere say. None of the sixteen publishes a rate on Maps, and it moves with the slot and the day, so any figure you read anywhere is indicative, and worth confirming on the phone. The same goes for addresses: one widely shared round-up puts the Hoàng Quân club at 442 Lê Hồng Phong, which is LITA's address. The numbers on this page come from each hall's own Maps listing.

A new hall, recently opened: congratulatory flower baskets still stand beside the drinks fridge, and there is a rack of rackets and shoes for sale. Green courts under a tall metal roof. Being new, it usually has courts free in the evening when the established halls do not, and running to 23:00 makes it the option for anyone finishing work late.

It is a few hundred metres from Thịnh Cầu Bè, so it is the next number to try when that one is full.
Addresses come from each shop's own Google Maps listing, and the Open map button opens that shop's pin rather than running a search. 18 shops on the site have no listing we could confirm, so they have no button: the address lookup returned a different business, and a button that points at the wrong place is worse than none. A Google score appears only when Maps carries both the score and the number of reviews — a bare average cannot be weighed, so this page leaves it out. Street-food stalls change hours and close without telling anyone; call ahead if you are travelling across town.
