December Hotel Nha Trang

December is at 289 Nguyen Thien Thuat in Loc Tho. That street is one of the three densest runs of street cafés in the city: with Hoang Hoa Tham and Bach Dang, so breakfast here is a 20,000₫ filter coffee on a plastic stool rather than a hotel buffet.

The same street holds the thickest concentration of bánh mì carts in the centre. They open around five, earlier than the noodle shops, so an eight o'clock boat from Cau Da does not mean skipping breakfast.

Tran Phu beach is about a kilometre away, ten to fifteen minutes on foot. You lose the sea view and gain a rate well below the same room class on the seafront. Worth it if you are out all day.

Nguyen Thien Thuat borders the backpacker quarter, so it is still noisy at night, though less so than Hung Vuong. Ask for a room away from the street if you sleep lightly.
