Sailing Club Nha Trang

Most "sea view" cafés in Nha Trang really mean looking at the sea from a distance through a window. Sailing Club sits directly on Tran Phu beach: chairs on the sand, open air, actual sea breeze. That's why it is still busy after all these years.

One thing to know: it's two different venues depending on the hour. By day it's a quiet café where you can hold a table all afternoon with a drink and a book. After about 21:00 it becomes a loud beach club, and it runs until 2 AM. One of very few places in Nha Trang open that late.

On price, plainly: 80,000–250,000₫ a drink is four to eight times a street café. You are not paying for the coffee, you are paying to sit on the sand on the best stretch of Tran Phu. Once that is clear, it either earns its money for you that day or it does not.

The beach in front is the public Tran Phu strand, so the sensible way to use this place is to swim first and then sit, rather than sitting to look at the sea from a distance. At 72–74 it is mid-strip, walkable from most central hotels. If what you want is a cheap, strong coffee, this is the wrong address. A street café does that far better for 20,000₫.
