Hon Chong is a jumble of huge boulders in every shape, stacked from the high bank down to the waterline. It looks curious from a distance; only up close do you get the scale — some blocks the size of a room, balanced on others in a way the eye can't quite account for.

Paired with the nearby Hon Vo, the cluster sits about 3 km northeast of the centre — close enough to fold into a morning that also takes in Po Nagar. It's the best ground-level viewpoint over Nha Trang bay, and there's almost always a breeze.

Tickets are 30,000₫, open roughly 7:00–18:00. This is the best view of Nha Trang bay you can get from dry land — anywhere else with that sweep needs a cable car or a boat. And because it sits on a headland facing the bay, there is nearly always a breeze, even at midday.
