Overview
Ibala is at 5B Pham Van Dong in Bac Nha Trang ward. The northern coast road that runs along the cliffs, not the Tran Phu hotel row. The room list starts at a 28 m² Stone Room, then a 36 m² Flint Room, a 50 m² Flint Suite and the Ibala Penthouse at 34 + 14 m². The hotel lists all four as ocean-facing.
Those numbers are the point. 28 m² at the bottom of the list is larger than the in-town standard at the same price, where 22–25 m² is usual. On a longer stay for two, ten square metres is a difference you feel daily.
The Pham Van Dong trade is fixed: quiet and open, but almost nothing outside the door. The eating quarter, Dam market and the backpacker streets are all south of here, five to seven kilometres off. The hotel runs a shuttle. Ask for the timetable and the last run when you book, because that decides whether dinner in town is possible.
In exchange, this is the side with Hon Chong and the mineral mud baths at Vinh Ngoc. Both a drive away if you stay on Tran Phu, and close from here. Inside there are a spa, a restaurant, a pool bar and a coffee shop.
Other places to stay in the Phạm Văn Đồng shore: Alibu Resort Nha Trang, Boma Resort Nha Trang, La Mer Hotel. Nearby: Hòn Chồng and the north-shore cafés.

- Pham Van Dong runs along the cliffs: scenic, but dark and thinly lit late
