Overview

Yang Bay sits in Khanh Vinh, west of Nha Trang: about 32 km as the crow flies and roughly 45 km by road, which makes half a morning out and half an afternoon back. Inside are several tiers of waterfall running over rock, a run of open-air hot mineral pools with ochre mineral crust around their edges, a suspension bridge over the stream, and paid-for activities on top of the entry.

The 2026 ticket, from the park's own list, is 170,000₫ for adults and 119,000₫ for children, and the gate is open 8:00–17:00. Be clear what you are buying: this is a built resort rather than wild forest. The paths are concrete and stepped, there are restaurants and changing rooms, and there are enclosures with ostriches and crocodiles. If what you want is an empty natural stream, Ba Ho to the north is closer to that idea.

The falls follow the season closely. After rain the water is full, white and loud; deep in the dry season it thins out and the rock shows through. The hot pools always have water, and for a good many visitors that is the part worth paying for. A hot soak in the forest, quite unlike the mud-bath complexes in town.

As a day trip, leave early: the road home darkens quickly. On a motorbike, remember that the last stretch to the gate is a small mountain road. Activities inside are priced per go, so read the board at the gate and decide there rather than buying them one at a time as you wander.

In the same group: Ba Hồ stream and Hòn Bà. All three are full days out of the city.

Don't miss

  • Open-air hot mineral pools in the forest
  • Tiers of waterfall over rock, with places you can swim
  • Built paths, workable for a family with older relatives

Practical tips

  • 2026 tickets: 170,000₫ adult, 119,000₫ child. Activities inside are extra
  • In the dry season the falls thin out, go after rain to see them full
  • Bring swimwear and a dry change for the mineral pools
  • Start early: the mountain road back to Nha Trang goes dark fast

Frequently asked

How much is a Yang Bay ticket?

The park's 2026 list gives 170,000₫ for adults and 119,000₫ for children at the gate. Activities inside are charged separately, per go.

How far is it, and how long does it take?

About 45 km by road to the west, through Khanh Vinh. There and back fills most of a day, so leave early.

Yang Bay or Ba Ho?

Yang Bay is built up: a ticket, concrete paths, restaurants, hot pools. Easy with a family. Ba Ho is wilder and involves scrambling, with no services. Choose by whether you want convenience or quiet.
