Overview
Nha Trang has six cinemas across four chains: two Lotte Cinemas, two Galaxys, one Beta, one CGV. Five of the six are inside a shopping mall. Going to the pictures here means going to a mall. On a wet day that is the point: the film, the food and the air conditioning are in one building.
Four are walkable from the beachfront hotels. Galaxy Nha Trang Center at 20 Trần Phú and Galaxy Cine+ Gold Coast at 01 Trần Hưng Đạo are about a hundred metres apart, in the same cluster as the central beach. Beta Cinemas is at 10 Hoàng Hoa Thám, immediately behind them. Lotte Cinema Trần Phú is at 78 Trần Phú inside Vincom Plaza, some 600 m south of the 2/4 square. The other two need a vehicle: Lotte Cinema Thái Nguyên is 1.5 km west, and CGV Big C 3.5 km out in the GO! complex.
Only one cinema posts a price at the counter, the Galaxy Cine+ Gold Coast: adults 70,000₫, under-22s and children or seniors 65,000₫, and a "HAPPY DAY" slot at 60,000₫. The higher block, typically weekends and holidays, is 90,000₫ for adults and 80,000₫ for the other two. The films on the board are from 2025, so treat these as a marker rather than today's price. Fares move with the session, with 2D or 3D and with the day of the week, and the other five publish nothing on Maps. One more marker suggesting the range has not moved much: two paper Beta tickets from 2019 read "N.M Adult Vip 2D — VND 60,000".
Going once, choose by the building rather than the brand. Galaxy Cine+ Gold Coast is the best-kept of the six: one auditorium is laid with cushions for small children, there is an arcade beside it, and it is the only cinema here that posts a price at the counter. Galaxy Nha Trang Center faces the central beach and shares its building with a food court and a bowling alley, enough to absorb a wet afternoon. Lotte Trần Phú suits you if you want the supermarket in the same stop. CGV Big C is 3.5 km out with nothing to make up for the distance. Go only if you are already shopping at GO!.
Two things to know before picking a session. First, foreign films in Vietnam normally screen in the original with Vietnamese subtitles. Animation and children's films often also get a dubbed session, and on the app or the board a dubbed one is labelled "lồng tiếng" or "(VIET DUB)". Read the label before you buy. Second, there is no cinema north of the city or out at Bãi Dài. From a Bãi Dài resort the nearest screen is more than 20 km away, which means a taxi each way.
A cinema is one of the few evening options in Nha Trang that involves no beer, and one of the few cool rooms when it rains. If that is why you are here, two more in the same family: the shopping malls run to 22:00, and foot massage and spas are indoor and charged by the hour.

LOTTE Cinema Nha Trang Thái Nguyên
Open map →60 Thai Nguyen, west Nha Trang
4.2★ Google · 1,808 reviewsThe busiest screen in the city, inside Vincom Plaza Nha Trang at 60 Thái Nguyên, about 1.5 km west of the 2/4 square. This is the local cinema rather than the visitors' one: near the station and Xóm Mới market, away from the sea. From the quarter, take a car.

Galaxy Nha Trang Center
Open map →20 Tran Phu, Nha Trang
4.5★ Google · 1,387 reviewsInside Nha Trang Center at 20 Trần Phú, directly across from the central beach. It is the easiest screen to reach if you are staying on the front. The same building has a food court and a bowling alley, "Power Bowl 388", registered at the same 20 Trần Phú. So it can absorb a whole wet afternoon, not just two hours.

LOTTE Cinema Nha Trang Trần Phú
Open map →78 Tran Phu, Nha Trang
4.3★ Google · 951 reviewsInside Vincom Plaza Trần Phú at 78 Trần Phú, south of the centre, some 600 m from the 2/4 square and still on the beach road. The WinMart in the same building opens at 08:00, so the film and the shopping are one stop.

Galaxy Cine+ Gold Coast
Open map →01 Tran Hung Dao, Nha Trang
4.9★ Google · 931 reviewsThe best-kept of the six. In the Gold Coast building at 01 Trần Hưng Đạo, about a hundred metres from Nha Trang Center. It is also the only one that posts a price, 60,000–90,000₫ a ticket by slot and category. One screening room is laid with coloured cushions for small children, and there is an arcade next door.

Beta Cinemas Nha Trang
Open map →10 Hoang Hoa Tham, Nha Trang
3.8★ Google · 791 reviewsThe only one here not inside a mall: its own building at 10 Hoàng Hoa Thám, just behind the Trần Phú cluster and walkable from the beach. Beta is the chain that advertises "the cheapest tickets in Vietnam", printed on its own popcorn boxes. One of its 2019 paper tickets reads 60,000₫ for an Adult VIP 2D seat. What you trade for that price is an older room and harder seats than the mall screens. Better to know it than to discover it.

CGV Big C Nha Trang
Open map →Inside the GO! complex, Vinh Diem Trung
3.3★ Google · 331 reviewsThe furthest of the six: 3.5 km west, inside the GO! complex (the old Big C). All four central screens are closer and newer, so this one is worth it only if you are already shopping at GO! and want a session before heading back.

Addresses come from each shop's own Google Maps listing, and the Open map button opens that shop's pin rather than running a search. 18 shops on the site have no listing we could confirm, so they have no button: the address lookup returned a different business, and a button that points at the wrong place is worse than none. A Google score appears only when Maps carries both the score and the number of reviews — a bare average cannot be weighed, so this page leaves it out. Street-food stalls change hours and close without telling anyone; call ahead if you are travelling across town.
Worth knowing

Practical tips
- For a foreign film pick a subtitled session; dubbed ones are labelled "lồng tiếng" or VIET DUB

- CGV Big C is 3.5 km out and the oldest room; only worth it if you are already at GO!
- Prices change by weekday and by 2D/3D, so check the chain's app first
